I have an Ender 3 V2. I flashed it to TH3D Unified Firmware 2.62 and installed a BLTouch. It appears to be working, if I auto-home it, the probe is activated and the print head retracts. Problem is it goes up about 12 mm. No matter what I do to the Z-offset, it keeps going back to the same position. I've sent M280 commands and the BLTouch deploys and retracts fine.

It must be something I've missed in the config file as I flashed stock from the Creality website and it worked perfectly.

  • TH3D firmware is supposed to make creating and setting up Marlin firmware easier, but, it hides the options from the user using another level of definitions, and when it doesn't work, see where to find what is done wrong. Considering the amount of questions on TH3D I'd leave that firmware for what it is and try create your own. It isn't really that difficult, there are plenty tutorials to find. With the information you're giving us it is really hard to guess what is wrong. – 0scar Mar 05 '23 at 06:40
