I'm encountering issues with my Ender 3 printer. During prints, it consistently fails in the middle, displaying "retract 1.0" or similar messages( retract 2.0, 3.0 and sonon. Sometimes shows distance). Despite the extruder motor working, the filament wears thin and fails to move. I've attempted solutions like tightening the extruder, changing the metal extruder, ensuring a clean PTFE tube and nozzle, and calibrating the extruder.sometimes it seems like the filament becomes accumulated at the end of the ptfe tube. i have tried multiple times cleaning ptfe and nozzle. but nothing provided any fix, small prints gets printed fine, large prints fail.Seeking guidance for resolution.

The printer is not more than 6months old. initially i have adjusted the extrusion gear such that the unworn part of the gear touches the filament. then i have changed it while changing the metal extruder. I have also tightened the screw that increases the extruder tension. still the issue persists. I exact error message is "retract E5.0"

How old is the printer? It is difficult to tell what the issue is, but from `Despite the extruder motor working, the filament wears thin and fails to move`, it sounds like the knurled bolt is *possibly* worn (if you say you've already tried tightening it). When you say that you have already changed the extruder, did you change/examine the knurled bolt and tension it correctly? It sounds like you may have already done that, but I just wanted to verify that. Also, if you could [edit] and accurately post the message(s) that you've been seeing, then that might give us more info to go on. – Greenonline Feb 27 '24 at 17:40

Please [edit] and add any new info to the question, and not the comments. Thank you. – Greenonline Feb 28 '24 at 07:09

Please add images of the ground filament, the extruder, this could potentially not be an extruder issue, but a clogging issue for instance. – 0scar Feb 28 '24 at 13:31
